Disgruntled Employee

Caution!!
Post not intended for the weak of heart, contains whining, snark and a lot of **%&$#.
Consider yourself warned.
As you are all aware(from past posts of whining)we are dealing with the super bugs of all super bugs. The kids , myself and now Superman(AKA. Hubby)has been stricken with some sort of cold/flu. Superman has been home now since Thursday, he was terrific and took a family day for me so I could concentrate on getting some rest, then he had some scheduled days off.
Well in those days off Superman fell ill, he never gets sick(after all he is Superman)so it is hitting him hard.
Since Thursday I feel like I have gone from Mom to disgruntled employee of the month, I have felt like I'm near death and I still have had to cook, clean, laundry and look after the needs of the girls, what the h*#@!!!
Why is it Moms need to pick up their a$$es and keep functioning like your well and the management get to lie in their beds or on the couch. I must admit he is a good patient, he never complains(Good thing, he might be a lot worse off!!).
But come on, we are both under the weather, the kids need to be fed, clothed and yes even entertained so they'll stop crawling on the walls and ceilings!!
If management treated their employee nicer and fair the work environment might be a lot more pleasant.
I am off now to get caught up on the laundry or Superman kryptonites are going Commando tomorrow, yes no clean undies in the castle...
P.S. If there are spelling mistakes, my apologies, I can't get spell check to work, arrrrr....

You know the warnings are like foreplay to me... I beg for more.

Do any of you have pneumonia? Be careful!
Mom's job is never done. I whined the whole month of December while we were sick... I don't know why it is left up to us to do it all. The Supermen all need a sleepy sleepy time break with tea service.

Is your French Maid outfit clean?
No undies required LOL!!!!!

My friend at work was just saying this same thing yesterday. Both she and her husband have been sick. Yet, he lays in bed while she takes care of their young son and the hubs too.

I guess this just shows which is really the stronger sex. :)

Hope you are all feeling better soon!

Oh, poor thing.
I always wondered how parents manage when everyone in the house is sick.
I think my mom has been dealing with the same superbug, and her boyfriend's illness turned into pneumonia. Sucks.

Oh Kerri, I feel your pain!!! This is exactly how I am feeling right now.

Thanks for posting, it makes me feel a little better knowing I am not the only one who is feeling this way!!

Hugs!

While I love you, Kerri, please keep your Cooties in the North!!! You and Sen have your own regular plague!!!! YUCK!!!

I don't see where it fair either! Why don't we, the Moms of this world, unionize?! I'm sure there's a lawyer or two among us!

Hope YOU feel much better soon!!! Let hubby feel like crap for just a bit longer! Oh, was that mean?!

I was wondering how you all were feeling over there - sooo sorry to hear all the yuck that's been going on in your castle. You, sweet Queen, should not have to carry the whole load on your shoulders...BUT, that is about how it goes. If I lived closer I'd be there in a heartbeat to throw in a load of laundry and do some dishes. Heck, I'd bring the little monkeys some brand new panties just for fun!
Please get well soon.
XO

I hear you girlfriend! I was sick awhile back with pneumonia and bronchitis, and DH went to work as normal (could have taken a day or two easily) and left the BUSY TODDLER home with me, all day.

Yeah.

The housework was right there when I felt better, too.

Yeah.

Men stink sometimes.
