I love this post! When I was little, my mom would let me sit in mud puddle in my diaper. Neighbors would warn her that I was getting dirty and she would respond, "Does it look like she's having fun?, Then that's all that matters.".

Kids after my own heart! They remind us everyday to just get out there, get our hands dirty, and HAVE FUN.

I wanna come over and play. I love DIRT and M loved the pic of them sliding down the dirt slide. Our yard looks almost like that but not as many hills and more weeds. Love the ladybug slicks too!

What a great Mommy! You made your kids day! That was the most fun pictures I have seen in a long time.
OMG, that was the BEST thing to do when we were kids! We lived on the water and did all sorts of things you could think of that involve living on the water (which I'm sure most other kids would be fascinated with), but then when they started a new housing complex a few blocks away, we were overjoyed with being able to play in the huge piles of dirt...lol. That was ALWAYS a good time!
That is the biggest sand box I've ever seen! Lucky little girls.
