The girls school year is finally winding down, Jill only has three days left. There is no more homework being sent home.

So there is time for play and lots of it!

Three badges for proof..

Sleeping on a hard floor, giggling little girls into the wee hours of the night, camp fires and quality time with my daughter.
We did it, we survived our first overnight Sparks-girl Guide camp out, we had a wonderful time, it was something Jennifer will remember for a lifetime.
It started off with a severe thunderstorm but that didn't dampen the spirits of our little campers, they won over the sun and it shone beautifully for the remainder of the weekend.
We had nature hikes, crafts, dancing, sing songs and we ate ourselves silly. The favourite event was the camp fire, mine too, cuddling up with my girl, sharing some time with her friends.
It was a long night trying to get some shut eye, the little campers giggled, shared jokes and just didn't want the fun to end. They finally drifted off and the old girl I am tossed and turned into the wee hours of the night trying to get comfortable. I didn't have much success, it didn't matter really when I saw the look on my Puddin' Pops face when she opened her eyes at first light.
So for coming to the camp out ,Jennifer got three badges and I got some wonderful one on one with my big girl. All went home very happy...
A huge thank you to Jennifer's leaders, Elizabeth and Lisa, your amazing ladies and role models for our girls. Can't wait to see you in the fall.

This t-shirt was found yesterday while shopping, I could not resist, it screamed Jillian's name, LOL. No explanation needed here.

Another cute find. I uploaded this photo and I really could notice my sweetie girl's injured front teeth.

The one tooth is losing it's blood supply, so as you can notice if you click on photo, you will see the tooth is very gray. We have a return appointment in May. The dentist said if it's not better they will have to pull it!! This saddens me, thank goodness it's a baby tooth. :(

Let me set the scene the last couple of days at our house, the last couple of days Jennifer has decided to put a question mark on every sentence(and I mean every!!!!).
Where does the food go after you chew it?
How does the water come out of the tap?
How does your tooth grow?
How do fingernails grow?
Why did you get married?
Why do Mom and Dads sleep in the same bed?
How do the babies get in the Mom's womb?
How, what, where, why, Mom, are you listening to me, Mom!!!!
I am going out to buy some chewy toffee, duct tape(kidding??) jube jubes, any other suggestions, LOL!!!

Question for everyone out there, how did the sweet little ladybug become the China adoption mascot? Who thought of it and where? Was it from the old rhyme, "Ladybug, Ladybug fly away home."
I love to think about all our little ladybugs flying home to their forever families.
