This is my boy Charlie.
He's a good cuddler, loves peanut butter in his Kong and points at the backyard birds. He thinks he's a lap dog although he weighs about 65 pounds.
This photo has just been used in a sporting dog web page, not bragging(not much, LOL) or anything but we thinks he's pretty handsome, wink...
To see some fantastic Black and white shots got to The Long Road to China, add your fave too!!

Black and White Wednesdays.
Black and White Wednesday is here again, go to The Long Road to China and play along!
This is Frosty and friend, last year we purchased a Frosty the Snowman LED light kit. It is the cutest, build the snowman push in the LED light kit. It is battery operated and after a couple of hours shuts itself off, every Xmas Eve(weather permitting) we build Santa a friend, it is magical to see him lighting up the way for Saint Nick.
Just wanted to thank everyone for their wonderful well wishes for my Dad, he is continuing to recover, again, thanks it means so much.....

My Dad...
Last Sunday shook my safe little world as I once knew it.
My Dad and my Uncle went to a country store about ten minutes from his home. He went to get out of the car and an elderly lady was backing up her car, instead of braking she accelerated her vehicle pinning my Dad.He was stuck between her car and the vehicle he was a passenger in.
This lady just kept accelerating and backing up, my Uncle and a passerby got her out of her car and rushed to my Dad's side.
He was then rushed to hospital, as some of you might know my Father was a Paramedic for 43 years and just recently retired. To be a patient was quite different for him.
He sustained very serious injuries to his legs, the left being the worst, he had some facial lacerations.
I was not prepared to see my Dad in the state he was in, vulnerable, full of pain, looking frail, bruised and cut up. I held it together until I left his side, I fell into pieces.
We are waiting to hear when he will have surgery on his left leg, they have already told us even after they repair it,it will never be the same.
This is hard.
My Dad was a very vital, active, young 65, he was full of life. My hope is this will not change his lifestyle.
I just wish I could trade places with him, so hard to see my hero in pain.......
