Well, it has been forever since I have visited or updated this old blog.
Life has been so busy and the monkeys are growing inches taller every time I turn around. I seen the evidence last night when I put on their black hooded cloaks from last year, unsuspectingly they were inches too short!! As a Mom, you just wish you could turn back the clock, stop them from growing.
Last evening was so much fun, their costumes looked fantastic and they come home with a huge loot of candy(which we donate every year, after 2 days of letting them gorge). The weather held out for the most part, a little rain didn't dampen the spirit of the ghouls.
Hope you had a safe and spooktacular Halloween....boo!

Happy Mother's Day

To my Mother-in-law, thank you for being such a great "Mom" and Grandma.
Thank you for bringing such a wonderful man into the world, you raised him to be such a caring wonderful, loving person. He is a loving Father, for that I am truly grateful. Thank you for opening your arms and heart to your Daughter-in-laws, we feel so loved in your presence.
Happy Mother's day to you, all my love...
Note the funky hair and tired(but estatic) look in my hubby eyes, LOL. We had just returned home from China, tired and in love..
To my Mom, thank you for giving me life, making that decision at 16 years of age could not have been easy.
You have been a wonderful, loving, caring and nurturing Mother, never showing your struggles along the way. You have been there for me around every corner, been my support, my strength and guided me when I needed it.You once told me being a Mother was a lifetime commitment, it didn't end when your children left home, you have proved to me that I am never to old to have the love and support of my Mom. Your now a Grandma and it just makes my heart swell with such love and pride when I see you with my girls, they love their Nana.
Happy Mother's Day Mom, I love you..
To my girl's birth Mother. I hope you know in your heart how much I love you.
I promised to you the day I held our child, I would love, nurture, protect and cherish them for all my life and beyond.
So as tomorrow comes please now I will be thinking of you and holding you dear in my heart, thank you for bringing 2 beautiful little lives into this world

Family Day 2009
We have enjoyed every minute of Family Day, slept in, went skating and off to Tim's for a treat.
Just a relaxing day full of family fun, I think we should have one of these little holidays every month, LOL!
We decided to take an informal shot every Family Day to see how much the monkeys change from year to year, this being our first attempt.
Hope your enjoying your day...

Pinch me!!
This is my Christmas present, I am still in disbelief.
My Superman and I usually don't go overboard and buy each other extravagant Christmas gifts, after all it's all about the monkeys.
Well to my utter shock and disbelief Superman blew me away with this wonderful gift.
It's got me a little intimidated, it's beautiful, light weight, takes clean, crisp, vivid gorgeous shots.
I'm in love!!
I can't wait to use it to it's potential, that is after I read the manual(when are the girls going back to school? LOL), right now I'm shooting on auto(told you I was intimidated, LOL).
So to all my blogger ladies out there, any tips, hints and suggestions are most welcome, please...

Gingerbread house 2008
All ready to go, think it's hardened enough so it won't collapse like last year, LOL..
So far so good...
What happened to my helpers, eating on the job, LOL...
Finished ..
I laughed at this picture, it looks like Jillian is thinking about ripping off the roof and devouring it.
We have had another snowy, blustery day with frigid temperatures. We are starting to get cabin fever, I think it's a little too cold for playing outside. It is great for getting the skating rink started, we need to flood it again tonight, the girls are ready to skate!
We are making sugar dough tonight so it can be ready to go for Santa cookies, we'll bake them Christmas eve.
Hope your having a great day..
