Under the big top.

This is how I see clowns, they terrify me, always have and probably always will.
Even as a child my parents recall me screaming at the sight of one.
You can imagine the horror when I asked Jillian what theme she wanted for her 4 th birthday party and she sweetly replied that she wanted clowns!!!
I am a big girl and yes I can do this, okay this is what I keep telling myself, LOL.
For now, I am planning on having an "Under the big top" birthday theme and yes, the kids are going to dress as clowns, ahhhhh...

    All Zoe wants is a princess cake,
    the one we see every week at the grocery store. So we have decided to go with a Princess theme.

    Oh Kerri, deep breaths. I feel for you! My Kerri likes bugs and I am terrified of them, and the last thing I want to do is pass my fear(s) on to her. I know this is going to be hard, but you can do this for your girls, I know you can! Maybe I should send you my recipe for the "cup of courage" (sparkling sangria) drink I always make for these occasions. Trust me, a few glasses and you won't care about the clowns anymore!

    I have always been scared of clowns too! My Mom always told me all the places she had to avoid with me because of them.

    Oh, My Gosh Kerri! If that is how I saw clowns I would be terrified of them too! Please, oh, please get that scary monster thing off of your blog! lol

    Clowns have never bothered me but I have a lot of friends that are. Maybe you could keep a bowl of "Mommy punch" safely tucked away in the kitchen. Just a suggestion (wink). I'm sure you'll do alright.

    I hate them too Kerri! Have you seen that movie "It" by Stephen King? Now that's scary.

    I have always hated clowns and always will. You are braver than me for planning the birthday party. You are a great mama.
