The tale of Mr. Toad.

One of my monkeys favorite summer pastime is catching toads and frogs.
There have been lots of toads in the yard this year so there have been some happy girls.

Jillian's Toadie as she refers to him.

I always imagined my little girl as my princess in pink, having frilly dresses and bows, LOL.
I love that they have their own intrests, they include toads, frogs and bugs of any kind.

Looking rather unimpressed..

Letting the toads go, now off to wash those hands, LOL.
Wash your hands or you will get warts... that is not true.. Growing up that is what we did too.. catch toads and frog and play with them...I have never had a wart..

ReplyDeletehow fun! Better frogs than snakes!
ReplyDeleteLove the header. You are so creative!
You can't beat a good frog... or bug... forget the biting ones though...
ReplyDeleteEww! Your girls are brave... ;)
ReplyDeleteMy son does frogs and lightening bugs around here......I can handle the lightening bugs, but the frogs.....freak me out a bit....we have had one or two get loose and end up hopping in to the house through the garage!
ReplyDeleteThe girls look like they are very excited with their matching toads in their little homes.....too cute!

I love how you said you imagined your girls in pink and bows, I do to except that my imagination has them dressed to the nines in tulle and running in mud! HA

You know, Kerri would be right there with your girls, and I would be hanging from the chandelier somewhere, terrified!
ReplyDeleteYou are such a great Mom to let them have their own interests.
The girls are so cute! The little toads are cute too... that last toad pic made me laugh... we have lots of them at our house I even talk to them. lol It is always the same thing... "Hello little toad... eat lots of bugs." I just think they are cute but it does kind of make me laugh that I talk to them.....
ReplyDeleteHappy Summer friend!

ReplyDeletethose are actually very cute toads! I collected snakes when I was a kid (props to my mom for putting up with THAT phase!! And for teaching me how to recognize the non-poisonous kind!)
